BigTime Rush (BTR) is Nickelodeon television series also known as a real life band.
Big Time Rush was created by Scott Fellows about the Hollywood misadventures of four hockey players from Minnesota. In the show four boys (Kendall Schmidt, Logan Henderson, James Maslow, and Carlos Pena, Jr.)
The series premiered with an hour long pilot episode, "Big Time Audition", on Nickelodeon, on November 29, 2009. The official debut episode aired on January 18, 2010. The debut episode premiered earning 7.1 million viewers, making it Nickelodeon's highest rated live-action serious debut ever.
On May 24, 2011 Big Time Rush was renewed for a third season of twenty more episodes.
